CSK General Server Rules
Rule 1 - Cheating:
i) Cheating in any form, including (but not exclusive to) the use of online gaming cheats, hacks, and ghosting (i.e. the practice of spectating players communicating to live players the whereabouts of other players on the server either directly or indirectly), is prohibited.
ii) Players who admit to cheating, including (but not exclusive to) making an express or implied statement that they cheat, or use of a cheating clan's tag, will be treated as cheaters.
If you suspect someone is cheating then please inform an Admin. The admin will acknowledge you and then they will assess and deal with the situation. Please do not continue to tell the admin that the person is cheating. Once we acknowledge your initial statement please continue with your game. If no admin is available, please report the person in our forums, reports that don't include a demo will not be taken seriously.
Note: Please do not waste our time with cheat accusations unless you are sure they are cheating. As amazing as it seems there are better Counter-Strike players out there than you.
Rule 2 - Exploits:
Use of map and server exploits, including (but not exclusive to) shield bugs / scripts exploiting shield bugs, attempts at server crashing is prohibited.
Rule 3 - Racism, Sexism, Homophobia:
Any use of racism, racist, sexism or sexist or homophobic comments through means including (but not exclusive to) the text-chat facility, voice-communication, and sprays, even between friends, is prohibited.
Rule 4 - Abuse:
Excessive abuse or harassment of other players, including (but not exclusive to) the heckling of new/poor players, blocking players, and following and shooting other players of the same team if ff is enabled is prohibited.
Rule 5 - Admin Abuse:
Any abuse or harassment of a {CSK} admin is prohibited. This includes (but not exclusively) arguing on the server about an enforcement action taken by an admin. The appropriate place to do this is stated in Rule 14 below.
Rule 6 - Disruptive Play:
Playing in a manner that is disruptive to other players or the goals of the map, including (but not exclusive to) team flash-banging, killing hostages, unreasonably refusing to plant the bomb is prohibited.
Rule 7 - Inappropriate Language & Player Names:
i) Excessive use of offensive language, including (but not exclusive to) swearing and sexual references, is prohibited.
ii) The use of offensive language in player names is prohibited at all times.
iii) The use of the word "CSK" in player names is prohibited, unless the player is a clan member of CSK.
Rule 8 - Advertising:
Advertising through means including (but not exclusive to) the text-chat facility, voice-communication, and sprays, is prohibited by non members of CSK, All CSK members are encouraged to advertise as much as they want on any CSK server however CSK members are prohibited from advertising on any non CSK server, we want to respect our fellow community members servers, since we do not allow anyone else from advertising on our servers we will not allow our members to do it on any other clans servers.
Rule 9 - Offensive Sprays:
Sprays that contain offensive words or images, including (but not exclusive to) pornography, or sprays which breach any other rule, are prohibited.
Rule 10 - Spamming:
Spamming through means including (but not exclusive to) the text-chat facility, voice-communication, or unnecessarily repetitive use of the radio, is prohibited.
Rule 11 - Languages:
The CSK server is moderated by English-speaking admin's. Therefore, in order to ensure the CSK server rules are upheld, excessive use of languages other than English is prohibited.
Rule 12 - Admin Impersonation:
Impersonating a CSK admin or member, either expressly or through implication, is prohibited.
Rule 13 - CSK Admin's:
i) Players may request the presence of a CSK admin on a server through reporting the problem using our forum, provided they have a legitimate reason for doing so.
ii) Legitimate reasons for calling an admin to a server includes, but is not exclusive to, the presence of a player in breach of the server rules. Legitimate reasons do not include requesting a map to be changed.
iii) If a player is aware that an admin is on the server (in disguise), the player must not alert the rest of the server to the admin's presence.
iv) The instructions of admin's must be followed by players at all times.
v) Admin's do not have to furnish players with any warning before taking action if they are contravening the server rules.
vi) Admin's have discretion to deal with any contravention of server rules as they see fit, subject to Rule 14.
Rule 14 - Being Banned:
We use several methods of catching and detecting cheaters including ban lists from other clans and ban list providers, if you have tried to access our server and your steam id was part of a ban list you will not have any recourse and will not be allowed on our servers at any time without exception. DO NOT ASK, your request will go unanswered and your post or email will be deleted.
i) Contraventions of the server rules can be punishable through a variety of means, the most serious of which is a global ban from CSK servers. Depending upon the severity of the contravention, an admin may, at his or her own discretion, apply a temp-ban or a perm-ban.
ii) The first temp-ban will ban the player from CSK's servers for 24 hours, the second for 14 days, and the third will be permanent.
iii) A perm-ban will ban the player from CSK's servers permanently.
iv) If you are banned, and are unsure why, you may post in our forums your Steam ID (obtainable by typing "Status" into the in-game console), your nick on the server, and any relevant details.
v) If you feel you have been banned unfairly, you may appeal directly to the head CSK admin through the address clan master at cskillers.com
vi) Bans can only be appealed if you can prove that you have not de facto contravened any of the above rules.
vii) Copies of demos made by admin's will never be supplied to persons outside of CSK, as they may contain confidential information.
viii) The head admin's decision in all cases will be absolutely final.
14b Ban Protests
Any player who was banned on any CSK server has the right to file a protest on our web site by either clicking the Protest a Ban Link at the top of our web site or by clicking HERE
All ban protests will be reviewed by the clan leader and will have a meeting with the admin who banned the player who is protesting the ban, All decisions made will be by CptnRyan and will be final, if we feel the ban will has been correctly issued no further protests will be allowed and the banned person will not be allowed to participate in playing on our servers.
Rule 15 - Clan Stacking:
Other clans coming to the CSK public servers must not join any one particular team and attempt to scrim the CSK members. this rule also applies to other groups or members. other clans may not come into a CSK server and remove their clan tag and attempt to scrim on any public CSK server or a perm ban will result.
Rule 16 - NO RECRUITMENT:
Other clans may not recruit any players while on any CSK public server, or direct any player to another clans web site through the use of our chat or voice system on the CSK servers.
Rule 17 - Abuse of "Noobs":
Abuse of "Noobs" will not be tolerated. We are a Noob friendly server. If you are a noob, please identify yourself to an admin so that we can keep an eye on you and help you out. If you have questions or need advice ask an admin. Do not be worried about what the other players think. We were all Noobs once, and we have not forgotten how difficult it can be to find a great server and great people to play with.
Rule 18 - Intentional Team Killing
No intentional Team Killing (TK). Our servers may have friendly fire turned ON. Intentional TKs will be subject to punishment from Admin's up to and including a lifetime ban. If you accidentally attack or TK anyone, have some manners and apologize, let them know it was an accident and you regret it.
Rule 19 - Weapon Restrictions
CSK reserves the right to ban or prohibit any weapons on our server that we so choose.
Currently the only weapon restricted on any CSK servers is the AWP,the AWP is a restricted until the server has at least 10 players or 5 players per team at which time it is at the discretion of the current highest admin on the server to un-restrict the weapon if they so choose. Players may request the admin to un-restrict the AWP once, additional requests may go un answered and if harassment to the admin continues the player may be banned from the server for up to 2 hours.
These rules can change at anytime without notice at the sole discretion of CSK admin's and officers
